Discover
On May 28, 2017, Camp Okoboji dedicated the Discover Center, and opened a new door to its future.
Discover was introduced in 2015 as a project to replace several older buildings. Its purpose is twofold. First, it provides a new and excting activity center for campers and guests. Second, to offer comfortable and flexible housing for summer staff and groups.
The Discover Center offers resources for outdoor education, the creative arts, and learning opportunities in a modern state-of-the-art facility. It is hoped that a common question of guests coming to camp will be: What will I discover next?
Discover impacts both the camp environment and the Okoboji community as a wonderful place to gather, learn and grow with Jesus at the Lake.

ABOUT
Camp Okoboji
Camp Okoboji can accommodate families and small or large groups of up to 500 persons in the summer and 290 in the winter. Facilities include 17 dormitory-style cabins, 17 modern housekeeping cabins, 2 retreat/reunion centers, The Refuge Chapel for small wedding seating for 50, Emmaus Outdoor Worship Center at the Point, a Discover Center (a multi-purpose facility), a Family Center, (a family-gathering shelter), a small Camp Store with snacks and souvenirs, and a beautiful dining hall. Camp Okoboji hosts family reunions, youth group retreats, marriage enrichments, congregational board retreats, and weekend getaways for couples, singles, and families! Auxiliary
Organized in 1988, the Auxiliary's sole purpose is to Pray for, Promote, and Participate in God’s ministry at Camp Okoboji. Over the past years the Auxiliary has funded many projects totaling over $950,749 by hosting fundraising events such as the annual quilt and basket auctions, various bake sales and cans for camp.
