WHAT A BUSY WEEKEND!

What a great Labor Day Weekend we had at Camp Okoboji!  We had numerous volunteers who came and supported and volunteered their time at The Discover Groundbreaking Ceremony on Saturday, The People's Choice BBQ on Friday (set up) and Saturday, and the Omelet Brunch on Sunday.  All of these activities were a success, and I heard we served around 369 people this morning at the Omelet Brunch.  We came very close to breaking our record!  Camp Okoboji Volunteers, you are invaluable, and we hope you enjoyed serving the Lord this weekend.  Great things are happening at Camp Okoboji!--Kim Warnke, Camp Okoboji Volunteer Coordinator

Oh, What A Beautiful Day!

What a great week of volunteer help we have had at Camp Okoboji! Today has been just beautiful at Camp, and we are looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow. Even a robin was "working" alongside of me while I was raking flower beds and grass areas. smile emoticon I think (s)he was looking for things to use to build a nest. I sure enjoyed meeting some great volunteers today that enjoy serving the Lord, and I'm looking forward to meeting more new people again tomorrow. God's blessings to each of you who so willingly give of your time and energy. Great things are happening at Camp Okoboji!
