Camp Dean

For many years, Camp Okoboji Deans have served as the backbone and front lines of Camp Okoboji's Discipleship Programs: Cub Weeks, Junior High Week, & Youth Week. Camp Deans sacrifice countless hours of their time, attention, and energy to plan, recruit, develop, implement, and evaluate discipleship programs. We are incredibly thankful for the Christian leadership displayed in our Camp Deans.

We are seeking Camp Deans to lead and serve at next summer's Discipleship Program. To ensure campers, counselors, and program staff receive the most faith-enriching and best experience at camp, our Camp Deans take on the same form of Christ, 'who did not count equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant.' (Philippians 2:5-7). As servant-leaders, our Camp Deans humbly seek to serve those that God has entrusted to them while leading them toward the vision of discipleship.

If you are interested in serving as a Camp Dean, check out the Dean Volunteer Description. Then download a Dean Application Form and submit it to Camp Okoboji's Ministry Coordinator. Applications must be submitted before Friday, Octoboer 2. After October 2, an informal interview will be arranged to discuss the nature of the role (particularly in consideration of the COVID-19 Pandemic) and your vision for this Discipleship Program.
